Joaquín has more than a decade of experience within the legal sector, specializing in Shipping Litigation, Commercial Law, Administrative Law, Public Procurement and Arbitration.
He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Sciences from Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua; an L.L.M. in Banking, Financial and Corporate Law from Tulane University, New Orleans (2015).

Joaquín also has superior studies in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Accounting and Auditing, Business Enterprises, Corporate Governance, Corporate Law and the Practice Aspects of Hostile Acquisitions, European Union: Antitrust & Merger Control, Foreign Investment Law in China, International Trade, Finance & Banking, Mergers and Acquisitions, Regulation of Financial Institutions.
He was President of the Tulane Lawyers Association; Spanish Language trainer at the Tulane University, Business School, he is also a founding member of the Board of Directors of the legal magazine GLAT Review.
