She seats in the Board of Directors of an international chain hotel in Panama, the Board of Directors of a licensed Trust Company in Panama, and the Board of Directors of an Association that manages an Island in the Pacific Ocean of Panama.
In the field of Aviation Law, María de Lourdes advises financial institutions, owners and aircraft lessors in acquisition, financing, registration, regulatory, commercial leasing issues of private and commercial aircrafts. She is the author of the article "Aircraft Liens and Detention Rights" for the Panama section of publishing house Sweet and Maxwell; and of “Getting the Deal Through – Aviation Finance & Leasing since 2014, Panama Chapter” published by Law Business Research.
Author of the Panama chapters on several Corporate and Financial Law matters for international publications such as The “Maritime Law Handbook” and the “Judicial Sales of Vessels and Priority of Claims in Panama”, Kluwer Law International, the "Aircraft Liens and Detention Rights", Sweet and Maxwell; "Aviation Finance & Leasing" since 2014, Law Business Research; and the Pillsbury World Aircraft Repossession Index – Panama.
