Since May 2, the agreement to grant Multiple Entry Visas for 5 years for ordinary passport holders for business, tourism or family visit between Panama and the People’s Republic of China has been in effect.

The agreement indicates that Chinese citizens holding valid ordinary passports of the People’s Republic of China, for reasons of business, tourism or family visit, will be eligible, upon request, to receive a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa, with a stay that does not exceed 90 days in Panama each visit.

Likewise, Panamanian citizens holding valid ordinary passports of the Republic of Panama, for reasons of business, tourism or family visit, will be eligible, upon request, to receive a Multiple Entry Visa of 5 years, with a stay no greater than 90 days in the People’s Republic of China.
