CMI - Comité Maritime International Tokyo Conference 2025

It was an honor to take part in the CMI - Comité Maritime International Tokyo Conference 2025, where our partner Joaquín de Obarrio served as a panelist in the session on the promotion of the Rotterdam Rules and the Beijing Convention on the International Effects of Judicial Sale of Ships.

Representing Panama in his capacity as President of APADEMAR, Joaquín addressed Panama’s efforts to ratify the Beijing Convention, alongside legal experts from Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
