Current Affairs: Naturalization Process

Recently, the President of the Republic of Panama, José Raúl Mulino, announced that the issuance of naturalization certificates will now be handled as an expedited process by the various entities involved.

“I have asked the Immigration Directorate to begin issuing naturalization certificates—there are more than 4,000. On Friday, I will receive the first 70, and I have asked the Director of Immigration to ensure a steady flow by eliminating bureaucracy along the way.”
