Panama Eliminates Visa Requirement for Tourists Holding Visas from Selected Countries

Executive Decree No. 196 of October 28, 2024, has been published, amending Article 2 of Executive Decree No. 521 of August 6, 2018.
This new Decree eliminates the visa requirement for entry into the Republic of Panama as a tourist for foreign nationals who would otherwise require a Panamanian visa, provided they hold a valid visa to enter any of the following countries:
Canada
United States of America
Commonwealth of Australia
Republic of Korea
State of Japan
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Republic of Singapore
Any of the member states of the European Union
