Very honoured for this commemorative plaque for our participation as legal counsel to JP Morgan Securities LLP, in the Carnival's financing deal to navigate the Covid-19 crisis.
The Public Offering of US$4,000,000,000 - 11.500% - First-Priority Senior Secured Notes due on 2023, covered various jurisdictions including US, UK, Italy, Panama, Curaçao, Bermuda, Cayman Islands and The Bahamas. The transaction involved a first priority Panamanian fleet mortgage registration over 17 cruise ships preliminarily registered through the Consulate of Panama in London during the peak of Covid-19 crisis.
