We join in celebrating the 30th anniversary of CeCAP, a cornerstone in the development of arbitration in Panama. Our partner, Joaquín De Obarrio, was present at the conference “CeCAP: 30 Years Contributing to the Development of Arbitration in Panama,” where key topics were discussed, including: the international origin of Law 131 and its impact on promoting uniformity in arbitration; the inclusion of non-signatory parties in arbitral proceedings; innovations in energy, construction, and infrastructure arbitration; the use of artificial intelligence tools in arbitral case management; and the effectiveness of Dispute Boards as a preliminary step to arbitration, among others.
We congratulate CeCAP on three decades of advancing arbitration in Panama.
