Government approves PPP project for US$ 352 million

The Government has approved the structuring of the rehabilitation and maintenance project for the Western Pan-American Highway, under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, covering a 192-kilometer stretch between Loma Campana and Santiago.
The contract will encompass the design, execution, and maintenance of the road, with an initial term of up to 30 years, extendable for an additional 10 years. This structure, governed by Law 93 of 2019, provides a predictable legal framework, attractive to investors seeking to participate in high-impact infrastructure projects.
