We proudly joined the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Seatrade–Panama Maritime Review, a publication that has consistently captured the evolution of Panama’s maritime sector and the transformation of the Panama Canal over the past two and a half decades.
Since its early editions, the Review has played a meaningful role in showcasing the strength of Panama’s ship registry and elevating our maritime flag on the global stage. Its editorial work has gone beyond reporting, it has helped reinforce Panama’s reputation as a key jurisdiction in global shipping.
At Patton, Moreno & Asvat, it has been an honor to contribute to several editions over the years, offering legal insight and accompanying the key milestones that have shaped the industry. This legacy was also reflected during the anniversary celebration, where our partners, Ebrahim Asvat and Joaquín De Obarrio, represented the firm and reaffirmed our ongoing commitment to Panama’s maritime industry.
We extend our special congratulations to editor Michele Labrut, whose consistent editorial work has played a key role in documenting Panama’s maritime progress and positioning the industry before an international audience.
